No. Apple Watch is optional, but BRAD supports Apple Watch companion ride and workout features when a compatible watch is paired and connected.
BRAD is built for iPhone and Apple Watch. iPad and Mac are not the primary supported platforms. Required iOS and watchOS versions are shown on the App Store listing.
BRAD may request Health permissions to read and write cycling workout-related data, including workouts and heart rate where supported. Health access only works when you grant permission.
BRAD uses location access to track rides, record routes, show ride maps, and support navigation features. Background location may be needed while a ride is active.
